The Sound Response program, using a system of remote monitoring and physical responses by professional staff, offers non-traditional over-night residential supports to people with developmental disabilities that reside in Dane County, Wisconsin.
CRISIS Response
Crisis Response is an ever evolving service for adult Dane County residents with developmental disabilities. Crisis response services are designed to prevent or shorten inappropriate stays in more restrictive settings. Crisis Response services are coordinated through Community TIES.
Dane County Department of Human Services in Wisconsin has long prided itself in developing creative support models in promoting self-determination for individuals with disabilities. The UCEDD at University of Wisconsin-Waisman Center-Community TIES program has partnered with Dane County to initiate these efforts. The programs are called "Sound Response" and "CRISIS Response."
